This feedback brightened my week!
A young client who had lost his confidence in school won an award for critical thinking. He was the only one in the class who figured out the problem. His mom said 'he was over the moon, so excited and proud'.
When I started working with him he used to say things like 'everyone else can do it but I can't do it'. Now he tells his mom 'I'm the smartest boy in the class'.
He used to say 'no one wants to play with me, I have no friends'. He became quiet and shy in school. Now he's more extroverted, not as shy and more inquisitive.
Seeing kids confidence grow makes me love my job all the more!
Great to see this boys focus and attention improving too!.
MYMOP is an 'outcome measure' - a tool for measuring what patients want to 'come out of the treatment'. These choices are written down in the patient’s own words and the patient scores them for severity over the past week on a seven-point scale: 0=as good as it can be, 6=as bad as it can be.
